Alternative to remote access

Have you considered Terminal Services/Remote Desktops?

Personally, I would set up an SQL Cluster for the main DB, and possibly Seperate App servers for each site. Our Terminal Servers tend to run very quickly, and allow for central management.

I'm looking at implementing E9 in 4 new locations. I would like to realize the benefits of a central database. But even with a great connection, I'm not a fan of using Epicor over remote access for large groups of users. It's just too slow for high use.

Does anyone have any suggesstions for efficient reporting on separate database? It would be great if Epicor designed a replication solutions, so you could deploy local E9 servers but share the data.

I thought the replication server only replicated a copy of one database. Can
you have a number of databases sharing their data?

As fasr as I know you can replicate as many instances as you've got... so
test , training etc.

Here's an example. When an order is entered in one location, the order is
replicated to the other locations.

Replication server will do that, not sure if it can do it to more than 1
different DB but I don't see why not.
