We’re getting ready to implement AMM after learning how material moves throughout our facility.
In our test environment, I’ve updated our resource groups/resources to locations and auto-move is off. I’d like to figure out a way to automate request that are populated in the material request queue.
For example, we’ve got a laser cutter with an in-bin of staging, and an out-bin of LaserCut. When the operation is complete, the part goes to the laser cut bin, which is great, but how do you get that part to populate in the material request queue without an operator at the next operation using a get request? This is the piece of the puzzle we’d like to happen automatically. Say from LaserCut, the next operation is paint with resource group PaintBooth and an in-bin of PaintStaging. I’d like a material move request to be generated for that part to be picked up from LaserCut and brought to PaintStaging automatically.
Is this possible?
