Any help with installing Altec

It has been my experience, installing APM 2.5 with a 'fresh' database,
that the database is completely empty and does not contain the default
admin user so it is impossible to login. I would contact support.

I had an older version database so I was able to run conversion scripts
on it.

Due to server movement and problems with upgrade to 803.403d, Need to
re-stall ALTEC,

So i get software download SQL express and put cd into install Altec
and that it and then get told that i do not have sql install oh but i do

Any Help ?
You will have to enter the correct name of your SQL installation. It
will be something like "SQL Express" and not the default. I can't
remember exactly what it should be. I had other issues with ALTEC
installation and was never able to get it to use SQL Express. I was
relegated to using SQL 2000 developer.

Kristy,

If it is anything like a Service Connect install to SQLExpress, add
"\SQLExpress" to the end of the server name when prompted (i.e.
"Servername\SQLExpress" and you should be good to go.
