I have a list of things from our 4.0 to 5.2 upgrade that I'll email you off-list. Maybe a thing or two will pop out as relevant to your upgrade. I know there were multiple gotchas I ran into with backup, Crystal, RB and clients that may or may not be issues once you get to 6.0.

Friday at noon I'm starting my conversion from Vantage 4 to Vantage
6. I've converted my database twice and found I can do it in just under 48
Hours. I've had Vantage 6 installed on all the company computers so everyone
could test it for the last 30 days.

Does anyone have any show stopper's they have run into after
converting to Vantage 6 ? Does anyone have a list of things they had to fix
after conversion ?? My forms and reports are already converted.

Are you upgrading on the same computer as your Vantage 4 or are you using new computer to do this?

Cliff,
If you do any reporting by QuoteID, you have to modify those reports
because Epicor has
added a Quote Audit Table that has some fields that used to reside in the
QuoteHed table.
The QuoteHed.SalesRepCode and QuoteHed.QuoterID fields have been marked
obsolete.
As usual, this information is found when users try to run reports and
get error messages
on the Monday morning after the conversion is made.
Wouldn't it be great if Epicor told us in advance when tables are added
and fields are
obsoleted?
Obviously if you do not quote, this will not impact you. All of my
other report work fine.
