Any way to save search results screen size?

Argh.. can't win. It loses the maximized setting after you close the
window you looked from. i.e. Open Job Entry, do a search and
maximize and save it - it works and keeps it maximized for each
search.

However, close the Job Entry screen - reopen it and try to do a new
search and now it no longer opens maximized for the search.

We (I'm sure everyone does) have various searches where the results
have many columns that we need to see, so you resize the window wider
to see the multiple columns.

Only problem is I see is no way of saving that width so the next time
you search - it retains that width. It always seems to snap back to
the smallest original size.

There any way to save that search result size?
You should be able to right click & choose save layouts.

That doesn't work on the search results. It works on every other
screen.

I take it back, you were talking about the whole screen itself....for
some reason I was thinking about the column width...

Here's and odd situation...

If you maximize a search window, the right click in the area where
the serach results grid will appear (or to the right of the grid if
one is already there) and select 'Save layouts', then next time the
search window is loaded, it will start maximized.

This only seems to work if the window is truely maximized (not just
manually stretched to the screen extents).

P.S. The above is for Version 8.03.403D

Heh, you're right, I've confirmed that happens here on 8.03.404 too.

Now.. if we could only get something functioning in between the small
size and the maximized window. However, having the maximized window
option at this point is better than nothing.

I'll pass that method along to our users to see if that works for
them.
