lol for sure not insight manifest it stores it's info in it's own database that mirrors epicor for the most part (it's a goofy setup for darn sure). They are used for multi-company or if a process does not have enough RAM to hold all the info. They are basically a dumping ground for processing routines that can be ignored in the context of customizations.

Today I had to change some values on a few tables and ran a query to find
every place this value was stored and out came entried in the "IM" tables

First questions is what are these for?
Second question do I have to update them too?

DataDic says Intermediate Table for XXX but what does that mean?

No. They are intermediary tables for Multi Company module. If you don't
have the MC module, they are unused.
