APM Email Fields

Thank you for the suggestion... unfortunately my cold addled brain informed you incorrectly and it is actually a field that a certain customer requires must show at the beginning of the email subject.  We didn't have any to test in yesterdays run either so will see what happens but am sure we can get round it some way!

Tracy,
what's the name of the field?

also if you print out the form, is that field name also visible  on paper  even when the field is blank?

We gradually implementing APM for our AR Invoices and it's going well but we have a field that we show in the Email Subject that is sometimes blank, and when it's blank it shows the field name… any ideas on how \ why this happens? Thanks.

You can try to do a formula for your ERM capture that if the Length is 0 then assign it a blank space.

I think that is the default behavior of APM.  In the email it generates, if the field you wanted to display did not capture any data, it displays the field name instead.

Almost positive I read it somewhere, either in the APM program or the documentation somewhere.

Thanks everyone.  The field is called 'SendVia' and we use it to determine if the document should be emailed or printed.

I have tried putting a formula on the ERM capture so we will see what happens.
