APM - Print Preview prior to Email document

Hi,

We established a few APM’s to email documents such as Quotes, Invoices, RFQ’s etc. However, some users would like to preview the form before the email is sent.

Is there a way to achieve that without the need for two report style?

Train the users to uncheck the Routing checkbox, Do the Print Preview, then Check the box again to email it

APM or print routing?

I have some good advice for you if using print routing. Never attach the routing rules to your default report style. Copy the report style, give it a name which describes the routing rule( email to customer) then Teach the users to change the report style.

I believe in 10.2.400 the preview button does not enable the routing rule, please verify.

Thank You, Bryan. I was trying to avoid multiple style, but if that is the only way to address it, so be it.

I’ll take your advice, although users are inconsistent at time, as you may know :slight_smile:

Some more advice on Break Routing styles …

Make a copy of the RDD that the style will use, and select the copy for the source RDD. Because once you set a style as Break/Routing, you cannot select a different source RDD.

If you ever need to tweak the RDD, you can do it to the copy. You cannot change system RDD’s.
