APM - Routing Question

We set up a formula in Crystal which checks for the fax number, if the fax
number is there, it displays the fax number, if the fax number isnt there we say
'Not On File'.

Then in Altec we tell it anything where form x and field y is in the format of
0* then send to fax.

When form x and field y is exactly Not On File send to the sales manager.

This is vague, but if you need more info let me know.

Subject: [Vantage] APM - Routing Question

Â
Hi All,

I am trying to setup a routing list in APM for our Sales Order
Acknowledgements (SOA).

At this time, all of our SOAs will being going out by FAX.

Everything works great if the FAX number is present on the SOA, but I'm
trying to setup the routing list to email the SOA to a user if the FAX
number is not present.

Can anyone shed some light on how to do this? Or can I do this?

Joe

We created 2 user defined fields on the Sales Order Header. First with how it should be sent (email or fax), second with the email address or fax number. These fields are populated with a BPM that looks to see how the bill to contact wants SOA (user defined field there also) and copies the values into the fields in the header, if there is no contact or the info is blank, it popultes the customer fax from the detail screen. Then we added these fields to the SOA with Crystal and modified APM to uses these fields.

Thanks Dan.

Do you end up creating two routing lists in APM with filters to be able
to control whether it went out by FAX or Email?

If not, how did you conditionally control which way APM sent it?
