Instead just use an email to fax service you basically have the fax number @ service setup instead.

We use this in document sender but works for anything.

Useful for users sending faxes from email too. There are many services available.

Does anyone know, would it be possible to setup APM to use one of our Xerox machines as a 'Fax Server' to fax documents? Would anyone have any ideas or thoughts on how to do this or be able to guide me in setting this up?

I would appreciate any thoughts someone might have on this.

I don’t think so, however, it might be possible if that machine can monitor a network folder, or have a folder on it that can be setup as a network folder for APM to dump it into and then if that machine pull a fax number directly out of a document placed in a folder for it to send, but I don’t know the capabilities of your machine.

 

However, in general as a rule, I usually recommend that everyone do whatever they can to get anyone they deal with(including themselves) off of using fax as a platform in general, it’s really a technology that needs to be killed off in our society.
