Application Studio - How Do I Access It?

Hello all,

We recently had an EDI customer ask us to begin transmitting SCAC codes and trailer numbers on our ASNs. However, we already utilize the REF*2l segment for a tracking number, so we have to create a new field on the Customer Shipment Entry that we can map to the TD303 element of the TD3 segment.

In the past, we’ve pushed customizations like this to a third party, so we don’t have a lot of knowledge about Application Studio. My question is, how do I access Application Studio in Epicor so that I can attempt to create/test this? I’ve been playing around and cannot see what I’m doing wrong. I did check my security privileges, and I am marked as having customization privileges.

We currently are using 10.2.600.11 and I’m using Classic.

Any direction would be very helpful!

I believe you will need dashboard developer, and or maybe IoT Administrator? Could be wrong but try those two see if they get you anywhere. I would also look at the security manager role and make sure you have all available access groups as well.

There is no application studio for classic, its only for kinetic. For classic you would do a classic customization.
