AR Invoice Entry Unit Cost

After recently upgrading to Kinetic 2025.1 our AR team found that Unit Cost is no longer visible or available in AR Invoice Entry. This is an issue because at time of Invoicing, our team cannot double check the salesman on profit / loss. For example, if a salesman accidentally enters the wrong price in the order, i.e. less than unit cost or even a over inflated sales price, not having this field visible eliminates the last set of eyes or last error check before the invoice goes to the customer. Does anyone have a possible workaround for this?

I’m not super familiar with the AR Invoice screen in Kinetic (I’m still on Classic). However, I have to imagine that it could be put back on your AR Invoice Entry screen with a customization pretty easily. I’m not sure how familiar you are with the Application Studio but you can add a numeric box in there and bind it to your Unit Cost field pretty quickly. Or if it’s on a grid, you should be able to turn that column on.

Thanks for your response Dan, however the problem is it is on a grid and there field is not available to turn on.

We have a PRB for this. It can be added with a bpm but its not trivial.

What about the individual cost elements? I know that’s not what you’re asking. But it may suffice as a workaround. And if they are there could you make a calculated value?
