Ariba Supplier Network

Brad,

Curious to see if you got anywhere with this as we are now using Ariba for invoicing with some of our customers. Did you ever get this service connected to Vantage?

thanks,
Bryan

Is anyone using Ariba Supplier Network for their EDI? We're looking
for a person or company that has experience configuring Epicor EDI with
Ariba (we're on 8.03.404B). If anyone has information or suggestions,
please let us know.

You need to create Shop Employee records under Job Management/Setup
and then you link those to User accounts in Security Maintenance/User
Security.

I was wondering if anyone has ever seen this:

I have a custom designed crystal report that works fine for Workstations
except one. On that ws one crystal report always comes up blank all the
rest of the crystal reports work fine. It has to be something on the ws
but I have reloaded crystal, vantage, and the .net run time. The user
can print the report fine from a different ws and no matter who logs
into that one workstation that report will not print.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Dale

Hi,

We had a similar situation - and it had to do with DLLs - make sure the
client has the same DLLs as everyone else.

Hi,

C:\client803\client - check the number of dlls here on the workstation
that does not work vs one that does...

Likely it will be a dll named something that indicates your custom
designed crystal report name...

If you find one (or more) that is not there, check others that are
working too and see if all of them have the missing dll, but only this
workstation does not...

There is a patch on the Epicor FTP site in a Crystal folder called 'Crystel Decisions Database and Export Patch.exe" that often fixes this. We see it whenever a workstation loads another software product that uses CR as a report tool. The patch tends to restore the DLL files to what Vantage likes.

I had a workstation that would print the first page of a custom CR
perfectly fine, but the second and every subsequent page would be
blank. The correct number of pages would print out and the print
preview was perfect which was so frustrating. And printing to another
printer from that station also was fine.

It turned out that the drivers for the printer had been changed from
PCL6 to PS. It might be worth checking...

Can that station print Vantage reports to any other printer in the
building without problems?
