Hi, As a brand-new user of Epicor, I was wondering, in the maintenance module, can you build an asset (equipment) tree (hierarchy) like in many other applications?

From memory you set Asset Registers, Classes and Groups which I think is similar to what you are looking for. Hopefully someone who’s using this module more actively than I do will give some more details.
In the meantime, have you read through the Application User Guide? I think it has a chapter dedicated to Asset Management.

Yes, you can have a tree of equipment in the Maintenance Module.
I think @Srakesh0303 is correct, one layer. I’ve never tried children of children.
You also tag the equipment with the Fixed Asset ID from the separate Fixed Asset Module.
You can set 1 parent with multiple child
