Any ideas on how users might attach emails to an E9 record? Like doclinks, which is already in use for attaching basic file types to E9 records.
One department asking for the ability to attach Outlook emails. Currently they are printing to PDF and attaching... or copy pasting into a separate doc, attaching. They are interested in something with fewer, direct steps.
We use Outlook 2010 and on the file tab there is a save as selection. We save the e-mail as an "Outlook Message -Unicode" to a shared location and then attach the e-mail file to the E9 record. When someone goes to view the attachment, it brings up Outlook and opens the e-mail message.
