I can not get a report to work as planned. I uploaded it to the group
section and would be greatly indebted to someone if they could tell me why
it is replicating some of the Inventory Transaction lines associated with
some of the jobs. I have widdled it down to a somewhat simple report but
can not seem to find the problem. Altered join configurations and grouping.
The report is needed to figure an adjustment amount for the conversion
problem/bug I experienced. It compares the cost from the completed job to
the transactions associated with moves to inventory, customer, and variance
adjustments. The difference is the error made by the system when
calculating the variance at the time of the jobs closure. It would be a
good check for anyone on 5.0 to run to verify that this bug doesn't exist on
your system. You will still probably see the rounding bug at work.
Please help, my job depends on getting this fixed by month end!!!
