Auto Backflush on Job

Hello,

I have a part with only 1 mtl part in the BOM. This material part has ‘Backflush’ unchecked at the PartPlant level, NO BACKFLUSH.

When i create a job for this parent part, pull in the details, i get a job where these materials are not selected as Backflush, which is exactly how i want it.

Then if I click the ‘Released’ checkbox at the Job Header, and schedule the job, it then selects Backflush on the materials.

Why does this happen when i release and schedule the job? How can i have this not happen?

Look at the part setup and see if backflush is checked there.

Are there multiple plants, and it’s set on another plant?

Does the MOM for the finished part list this material as backflushed?

Is there a BPM setting it automagically?
