Well I have just started looking into it. My problem started with the
fact that we do not price our labor and the process insists that I have
cost estimates on the operations. I did both auto complete and auto
close. When I processed the auto complete the auto close never found the
job. I tried to set the codes up as a default so I didn't have to
specify for each product code but that didn't work at all. I removed all
of the material backflushing flags since the components of sets cannot
be set to backflush and I don't want the operators to have to think
about which process they have to use to relieve inventory. The
components of our sets can be used as material components for other
processes. None of my operations are set to backflush. The job
close/complete trackers just told me that the job in question was
processed and didn't say anything about material shortages. All of the
other jobs in the queue threw errors since there were no cost estimates
on the ops. I don't know if this answers any of your questions or just
creates new ones, but any assistance will be appreciated.
Thanks

I have found the parameters to be a little tricky to tailor. Are you
using product groups and if so do you have any parameters set up on
them? What does the job close tracker tell you about the jobs. Are any
of your operations set to backflush? Did you auto complete the jobs
before you ran the auto close or did you manually complete the jobs
first?
