We are on Vantage 6.1. We have some jobs set to auto receive on the
pack operation. We used office data collection to make a pack entry of
735 parts and Vantage entered it as MFG-STK -1225. Anyone know what
could cause this? Has it happened to anyone else?
That sounds like what is supposed to happen. The MFG-STK transaction means
that the assembly/part is going from a job to stock (inventory). When the
operation is set to auto receive and it is the last operation the MFG-STK
occurs when a quantity is entered at the op in data collection. If your
last op is packing and want the auto receive to happen at a different op,
you have to check off auto receive and final operation on that operation.

Yes, but our MFG-STK operation is going in as a NEGATIVE. (-1225)
Why is it going in negative 1225 when we entered in positive 735 in
pack?

Make sure your Quantity per is a one to one relationship. In another
words, your prod qty should be the same as your completed qty.
