Automatically Email Standard SSRS Daily

We unfortunately don’t have Advanced Print Routing :weary_face: and have been asked to email a standard SSRS report (Aged Receivable) on a daily basis.

I know I can set up a schedule in system agent but how do I set that up to email a specific person or can I?

  1. Create a new system task with the schedule parameters.
  2. Open Aged Receivables
  3. Set Options and Filter values accordingly
  4. From the three-dot menu, select Send By Email (in green)
  5. Update the schedule with your new task name and check Recurring (in yellow)

One caveat - you’re at the mercy of SSRS actually running the scheduled report. We’re still seeing random fails from time to time.

I might have gotten steps 4/5 in the wrong order. Go figure.
