Availablity of additional licenses

Steve,
Are you kidding me? Please tell me this is a joke!
Â
First, please read the License Agreement you recieved when your Company purchased the RIGHT to use the software. By sending out this e-mail you have violated your Software Agreement. This means your Company is now open to a lawsuit by Epicor.
Â
Second, I am not even sure the license codes you would get would work. And if you did manage to get them to work, Epicor would know.
Â
Good Luck, and retract your offer to this group,
Jonathan LangÂ

Does anyone know of companies that have went out of business or are no
longer using vantage that might be interested in selling their
licenses. We are needing some licenses for the shop floor but can not
justify the purchase at full price. We realize that this is not the
proper forum for this, but..... Please contact me directly. We are
using 6.3

I think if you read the fine print the license are not transferable except in the case of acquisition or merger. This is pretty standard in software licensing so you can bet Epicor's legal staff are all over it. Besides the license key method they use is monolithic (# licenses embedded in one code) and tightly controled in Irvine.

Read your license agreement. Rarely can one assign/transfer a license
to someone else without the permission of the licensor.
