Awesome feature only shows up in one place, why? Supplier Price List

I’ll bet a lot of people are not aware of this because this Supplier Price Lists right click menu option only shows on Part Maintenance, not Part tracker or anywhere else I know of. What it does is open all of the supplier price lists for a part. It’s awesome.

Here is the result, very handy to see all of the price lists where the part shows up.

But I have no idea how to enable it somewhere else. It’s not on context menu maint and when I tried to put Supplier Price List on the context menu it didn’t work out. Any clues would be appreciated, even if it means creating something new.

That is cool!

Yes it is but putting PMMT2000 on the context menu does not work, probably because vendor number is the key field for supplier price lists.

Yeah you probably have to set up a custom process call.

@markb_wi In Part and Part Tracker it is in the action menu. In tracker is is just labeled Price List. I am not aware of other places.

Something to be aware of this will only (in my experience) pull the last price from a supplier. We have had odd issues with a confused buyer that had multiple prices with multiple effective dates and you only see those if you open supplier price lists from the menu.

Ah thanks for that, we are not that sophisticated, only one active price list at at time here. Ideally it would be cool to get that via right click from anywhere partnum shows up. Maybe too cool.

@markb_wi We are not either. They would report that Epicor was setting the wrong price and send me a screen shot of the only price they saw. After the third or fourth time I had a canned response to send them to check using supplier price list from the menu rather than Part.

Sometimes I make a BAQ report to let people know there is a bad setup so if everything is perfect, no email. For example a SO’s part has no active revisions due to checkout. That one goes out twice each afternoon to engineering.
