Back Flush of Labor

6.10 backflushes on partial receipts of the job sequence. Would expect that
to be the same in 8.03 - that's what I've seen in two other systems that I've
used as well (Mapics and M2K)

Labor backflush occurs on job qty receipt. I've never verified whether it
requires a full qty receipt (versus a partial) to trigger.

We are looking to back flush our labor in 8.305. We have set our resources
for back flush
and indicated back flush on the operation in the method. We were not able to
log into the
job in MES to report quantity ( evidently since we selected back flush on the
operation for
labor reporting). I must of missed something, but as most of you know the
help in this area
is limited. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Also, is the only way backflushing is triggered is against the completed
quantity in job
completion/closing? Some of our jobs run many weeks and would like to
backflush more
frequently then at the end of the job for material inventory balances to be
more reflective.

Thanks,
JSR
