In V8 you would uncheck the box labeled "Allow Historical Dates" on the
Process MRP screen.

MRP will start with backwards and if it goes into the past it will then
forward.

When vantage schedules a part, it can back schedule and tell you that
you should have started this job last week. We can fix this by forward
scheduling each job we need to but when MRP runs, it will back schedule.
We would not get an accurate schedule until we firm up the job and
reschedule.

Is there a way to prevent Vantage from backscheduling?
