Backflushing - Job completion after shipping

I figured someone would say something to that degree...I just needed
confirmation!

Thanks!

Your cost of goods sold will be lower for that period and higher for the
next when you post from your WIP reconciliation and you will still
recognize revenue for the month you shipped. Your inventory will also be
higher for this month than next but other than that you should not
really have any problem. If you were shipping large quantities without
backflushing and closing jobs on a monthly basis your Income statements
may start to vary widely from month to month

I have a job where we shipped from the job before any of the relieving
occurred, AND on top of that it shipped last month. I am wondering how
it affects my GL if I do the relieving this month.
