Backing Up the Database

This is what we do too. In addition:

- We back up the rest of the Vantage server with our regular backup software
(Backup Exec) but do NOT backup the .db folders.

- We copy the backup file to another server just to have a copy handy in case
we want to restore and not have to go get the tape that's currently off-site.

How are others out there backing up their progress databases?

You could use 7 zip in the backup process to compress the DB more if
space is ever an issue.
