Its more than replicationÂ… server mirroring(is that a word?) Noone accesses
progress/vantage portion on the mirror (keeps us compliance) unless the
primary server goes down; the disk subsystem (Xiotech) is independent and
thru DNS aliasing and some ipfw/masquerading the secondary/replica/mirror is
enabled in about 120 seconds and the users donÂ’t realize theyÂ’re running
Vantage from different server.
