Bad luck with importing Account segment values

We are setting up a new company.

let’s say
C1:- parent company
C2:- child company(we are setting up child company)

The Account segment values and General ledger account are already defined in the parent company.
But I’m unable to transfer those Global COA through the “Initialize/send Global COA” through the external company configuration from parent company to child company.

Any suggestions on how to set-up the account segment values and general ledger account.?
