I really need your help.

Trying to create a BAQ which retrieves New PO Suggestions with the most current Part Revision from the PartRev table.

In the top Subquery1 I have the PartRev table, displaying Company, PartNum, RevNumber.

In the Subquery2 I have the PartRev table, calculated EffDate = MAX(PartRev1.EffectiveDate), GROUP (Company, PartNum).

In Subquery1 “Table Criteria” I am using “PartRev.Company” = “ANY values of PartRev1.Company field from SubQuery2 subquery”

And “PartRev.PartNum” = “ANY values of PartRev1.PartNum field from SubQuery2 subquery”

And “PartRev.EffectiveDate” = “ANY values of EffDate field from SubQuery2 subquery”

When I specify a part number in the subquery table criteria I get the correct results but when I take the filter off it brings all of the part revisions. After I get this right I’ll link the SugPODtl tsble.

 

In E10.0 the New PO Suggestions screen is not pulling the most current material P/N Rev. Unfortunately Epicor thinks it’s not important any way but for us it’s very important.

I need to calculate part usage for the past 12 months.  I would think this would be parts off the completed jobs?  I don't have jobs in the  BAQ but I do have Order tables.  Could I just grab the total based on the completed orders?  Would I just calculate the total and then when my date filter in in place it will capture the total for that date range??
 
Just can't seem to wrap my brain around this...I am sure it is simple.

When you say part usage do you mean all parts or only those parts received to inventory?

You can query the parttran table and set a criteria for the MFG-STK which will then display only those transactions by part by date

There is internal and external usage –

 

I am not sure what type of part you are calculating usage on but for  components usage try STK-KIT, STK-MTL.

it would be MTL - STK.  we build to stock.  So I need to capture how many parts were done in a 12 month period.

Look in PartTran. It should have the information you need. It's the info used in the Part Transaction History Tracker.

Someone sent me a list of codes and their effect on inventory quantities. A +1 means that a transaction quantity adds to the on-hand quantity. A -1 means that the number decreases on-hand quantity.
