Good Day:
Sun Is on M2K but,
Going to: Epicor 9, 9.04 ( maybe 9.05), SQL (live 7/1/2010- maybe
8/1/10)
Attached are some screen shots from E9 BAQ design screen.
Questions:
1. Is it similar to V8 BAQ so that V8 and E9 users can help each other?
Or, more precisely, V8 users can help me in E9 right now.
2. Specific question. Can a BAQ (NOT the one SHOWN) Prompt for a
parameter; for example, if a BAQ lists a BOM can it be programmed to
have a Screen prompt to ask for the Parent Part#
On Page 5 of attached, there is a criteria of ' Specified table
field value". If you select that, then click on "Specified", it opens up
a window with Field names. But, if I do that, when I run the BAQ, it
does not prompt me for the Parent_Part#, it just runs for the whole BOM
file.
I know that you usually run a Crystal report against the BAQ, but we
were told it is best to limit the number of records with the BAQ, so the
Crystal report runs faster.
I did the BAQ on-line ( actually on our server) course, and it did
not mention prompts\run-time-parameters.
