We are using hand held barcode scanners for data collection on our shop
floor. We use scanners for collecting labor hours in our sheet metal
departments. We do not input any information into AMM from them.
Feel free to contact me with any specific questions.

Subject: [Vantage] RE: Bar Coding/Scanners
Is any one from the group using hand held devices/scanners to collect
labor information and or using these devices in conjunction with AMM,
etc? We're investigating automating our manual input processes and
would like to know if there are others that have already implemented
such technology.
Thanks,
Mark Smith
