Barcode Length Blank Title 108950

We use PDF417 barcode with 2D scanners and have had no problems with long barcodes since going live.
Â
They dont get much bigger when you add more to them.
Â
2D scanners work far more accurately with 3of9 or code128 too.

Â
I concur... Ive never run into issue with the number of characters before I have with font size, print area available issues. Usually when you hit area limitations is when you start to move into 2d barcodes, but I don't usually see that with 15 characters or less..unless you have some very small real-estate to work with..

Most problems I have ever seen is the width of the printing area
Here is a neat site for code 39 barcodes:

What scanners are recommended for barcodes that have many characters.
Our current scanners seem to work fine up to about 15 characters, but then after that they will not scan. I have tried a bunch of different fonts and settings on the labels but nothing works.
