Today we're using a Motorola MC9090. It's an older version but works in E9 (thanks vic). The distance we can scan is quite far.Â

Hi Flynt,
There are various factors that affect how well a handheld barcode reader
will work:
- What range will you be scanning from (inches away, a couple of
feet, long range)
- Physical environment, like warehouse temperature ranges
- How physically durable does it need to be
- Existing wireless network
- etc.
What's your usage and environment like?
In the past, I've gone directly to Intermec for recommendations, or you
could check with a knowledgeable reseller. I've always liked Intermec, but
there are others out there too.

I'm about to purchase handheld barcode readers for our warehouse. I'm
thinking I'll go with the Epicor recommended Intermec CK3X, but I thought
I'd see if the "community" had any other thoughts or recommendations.
Thanks
