I posted the ABL code to the EUG about six months ago.

Hi group,

Has anyone tried to add new tables to the report data definition for labels i.e. those starting with "gen"? I am trying to add Part table to Genjob but it is not working. The text file doesn't generate but when I remove the table and relation it works again.
Does epicor allow us to add tables to RDD for labels?

I cannot answer your question specifically, however I would suggest not
using RDDs and BAMs to produce Bartender labels.
I found them to be hard to work with, un-customizable, and sometimes they
do not produce files.

Instead we created standard data BPMs on the PartTran table using ABL code
to create the file. We can do some pretty cool things with the BPM and
Bartender combo.

I'm on version 9.05 so I'm not sure if that makes a difference, but I've had 100% success using RDDs and BAMs to trigger Bartender Labels. Thought given the that you have some decent experience with Data Directives and ABL I could totally see that being the better combo. Would certainly be more flexible

Well per the usual you'll want to create a copy of the RDD first then use that when you create you BAM, but yeah using any of the "genXXXX" RDDs I was able to do what I needed. i.e. I created a copy of the GenJob RDD called WCI-CTNLabels and then linked JobProd and OrderHed to my RDD to get Order Specific information on my Make Direct job labels.
