Batch Order Acknowledgements

Interesting....rather than a subreport I might make it an entirely new report driven from the Traveler DBF files (plus ODBC as needed). This might make it easier to send to the proper printer (with the right colored paper). This will be a good exercise for preparing for more Crystal and life w/o RB.

If you are using ODBC,
You should be able to convert a copy your current acknowledgement to all
ODBC, and then attach it to the end of the traveler as a subreport with a
new page...
Then it will print with the travelers...
This is just a thought, and a theory at that...but it might be a direction
to try.

I've been asked to see if there is a way to batch print Order
Acknowledgements. We do not print them until the first job for an order has
been created. At the end of the day we would like to print acknowledgements
for all orders that got their job scheduled that day. It looks to me like
the only way to print an acknowledgement is via the order entry
screen....one order at a time. I could mimic the acknowledgement well
enough with RB but am trying to limit new RB reports. Any suggestions for
printing a batch of orders similar to Job Travelers?
