Anyone know why I wouldn’t be able to select the batch option on the resource scheduling board? Recently installed AMM and just testing.
The jobs are for different parts with the same operation routing.
Was the operation already started for that Job?
Both are completely new jobs for testing.
Wait, I thought batching came with Advanced Planning and Scheduling, not AMM?
It comes with Advanced Production. Confused the two, but we also installed APM.
That’s right.
I would make sure that the jobs are released, that they have the same resource for that operation, and just generally that there is not anything unusual about the jobs. I’ll see if I can dig anything up in the documentation.
I tried in the Kinetic App vs. Classic form and it works fine in the new app for whatever reason.

I had to unhide it in classic from Personalization > Collection. Would there be something I’d have to do to enable it after unhiding?
What did you have to unhide?
I would be careful with using classic screens as they are no longer updating them. If Epicor added some functionality in Kinetic, it will not be in classic.
