We completed our first FULL physical inventory with Epicor 9 after upgrading from 8 last year. We ran the count variance report for each of our warehouses prior to posting and all appeared to be what we expected. However, after posting the counts we found that there were several instances where the posted countsQTH were hugely different from what we expected and cannot figure out why. This caused HUGE variances between our pre and post stock status reports that were ran. For some reason, even parts in warehouses that were not even selected for counting in the process had parts adjusted in them. This was our first physical with Epicor 9 so we dont have a clue what might have happened. We noticed sone STK-STK transactions were created on several where this problem occurred and that seems to be what threw iff the QTH on hand we were exoecting sfter posting the counts. Can anyone shed some light on what coukd have happened here???

Could you post a screenshot of the part transactions for one of the parts on question? We've had issue with parts that had movement during lockup before.

We seemed to find that the parts with problems we’ve found so far ALL have some strange STK-STK transactions posted to them that affected the QTH on the date we posted the counts. Not sure if that’s the smoking gun but that seems to be something that occurred on the parts that are messed up..

Some versions of 9 have a bug where there are one-sided STK-STK transactions with counting. Contact support for a fix.
