Bill to address

The BTAddress field is only populated if the Customer's Bill-To
address different than the Customer main address.

Under the Options menu, select Developer Mode, load the Customer app, select Customization from the tools menu, and then click on the field you are interested in. The table.field name will be displayed.

options menu I see is the one on the main screen and it only allows me

In 6.1, the bill to address is in the customer table under the fields
BTName, BTCity, etc. Hope that helps.

Is it possible that this field only populates if its
different than the Company Address1 input? I ran a
Crystal report the other day referencing the same
field you mentioned, and the field populated for some
while some did not, which made me think there was an
additional qualifier built in there somewhere...

Not a stupid question... Maybe a stupid answer (as perhaps you are on v6?). In 8.03.305, the one of the top bar menu choices when you log in is Options. You need developer rights to select develop mode (and Customization within apps).

If you go into the screen for the Bill To, right click somewhere on the
form and select Control List. It shows that the data is being pulled
form the places Mario specified below. It looks to me like they're
pulling the normal address information if the BT fields are blank. Try
it out - enter a billing address and then check the fields in the table.

Do you have the CRM module or customer connect? Are you in other version
other than 6.1? If no to these questions, the fields are after the user
defined and blank characters in the customer table. Below is a picture

Can anyone please tell me in which table I can find the Bill To Address
that I see when I go into customer Maintenance and click on "Billing"
and then on "Bill To". I looked at the customer table and see that
there is a "BTAddress" field there, but no data, so it must be else
where; but where?

Not a stupid question... Maybe a stupid answer (as perhaps you are on
v6?). In 8.03.305, the one of the top bar menu choices when you log in
is Options. You need developer rights to select develop mode (and
Customization within apps).

Ok Robert, stupid question, but where is this options menu? The only
options menu I see is the one on the main screen and it only allows me
to change id, plant, company, etc...

Under the Options menu, select Developer Mode, load the Customer app,
select Customization from the tools menu, and then click on the field
you are interested in. The table.field name will be displayed.
