Has anyone poked around with Bold Reports yet to see what it’s like? I’m hoping for something that’s as easy and powerful to work with like Bartender
would love some stupid simple stuff like ability to “fit text to this space by adjusting font size as required”
It’s the same feature set as SSRS basically. Don’t get your hopes up.
It follows the rdl standard, with a few additions.

Yeah what Kevin said. The web designer experience is likely to be better than SSRS experience. My experimentation was around the REST/WebAPI datasource capabilities. Specifically, can it join two or more rest results or parse a single nested json response in a report to populate the ds{table,table) structure of existing Epicor reports. Turns out nope. Need relational engine to do that. So my guess is they will provide shared datasource connections of some sort so everything will remain as-is on both the RDD/SQL side and the crappy SQL statments in RDL.
