I'm not sure. I never had to do this.

I would first make a backup of my database. I would then recreate the
method and see what happens. If it doesn't work, maybe Epicor support can
help.

If you have an earlier backup when your configurator was intact, you could
restore this to another database and use a utility from Epicor that allows
you to export the configurator from one database and import it into another.
I've used this before and it works really well, but the downside to this is
that they charge you for the utility.

So if they are there, do I just have to recreate the bom and method and
everything should be back to normal or what would be the next step if the
stuff is there?

There is no built in way to access them, but you could create a BAQ that
displays all fields in each table. Its any table that begins with Pc.
PcInValue contains the saved input values, PCRules contains the configurator
rules, PcVerDynLst contains the dynamic lists used in your configurator, and
there are others.

You could check the pc tables and see if your role rules are still there.
role rules are not deleted when the part or operation they are assigned to
are deleted from the method. I don't know if this is true if the entire rev
is deleted and I'm not sure if other parts of the configurator would still
be there.

Subject: [Vantage] BOM and Product Configurator

Well i spent about a week setting up a configurator. . Today, i went back in
to check something only to find out that the BOM and Method were gone, which
in turn means that configurator is gone. Is there anyway of getting this
back without having to re-do everything? I think I alreay know my answer,
but this is worth a shot...

Thanks,
Brad
