BOM Duplication

Hi Toby,

I am trying to do the same thing and having a tough time figuring out
where all the tables are, especially since the buyer would like more
info on the report, like preferred vendor and on order quantity. I see
that in Vantage preferred vendor is a "view" so I am not sure how to
pull it of the tables. If you or anyone has figured this out I would
appreciate seeing how you accomplished that.

Thanks,

I am running 8.03.404 and I want to take the current BOM Listing report
that was created by Vantage and make it my own report in Crystal. How is
this possible? I thought I remembered previous posts stating you can run
a canned report and that it creates some file somewhere (assuming xml on
local drive) and using that file you can use Crystal to create or modify
the report for your own use.

Only if the report is a crystal report, then that is true....if it is
progress you have to create from scratch.

Look at the report definitions to see if the BOM Listing report is
there...if it is then it is easy to just modify, if not, then you have
to create from scratch.
