Epicor 9.04.507A (SQL)

I have added a subreport to a modified BOMListing RDD, saved as BOMList4, and created a new report style pulling that RDD, and modified the BOMListingRpt.rpt. It all works great in the developer, but when I try to run the report with the runtime I get the Database Login screen. The subreport was created with the Report Wizard, and runs fine as a stand-alone. Is there a way to make this all play together?

Each subreport has its own dataset and properties. Go into Database.. Set
Datasource Location for each of your subreports. If done properly, that
login prompt will go away.

You tell your user that what he / she is trying to do is stupid... there isn't a reason why you would need a report of ALL your BOMs in a SINGLE REPORT... that makes no sense...Â
I would find out what the end goal is and try and find an alternative solution. You are not going to be able to get that report to run unless you have only a couple of parts... with only a single level or two.... SIGH users ask for the dumbest crap sometimes.

Yeah, not sure why they'd need it.  I'd definitely ask them what it's actually for.

However, in the files section I think there's SQL code for adding a view that will create a leveled BOM listing.  That can be exported or used as an SSRS report.

How do I add a filter option to the BOM Listing report.  Out of box there is Part and Prod Group.  If I want to add another where do I start?

I have created a BOM BAQ and then put it on a dashboard.
If your company has a lot of BOM rows - Place a parameter on the query to filter the report, 
Part number, product group, etc.  

I would be worth asking what they do with the data, as there are a lot of other out of the box reports and queries that they may want to consider.
