Hmmm. Interesting. I wonder what the difference is between the two...

Has anyone had any luck writing a crystal report for BOM? I'm trying
to make a report that will give a list on materials for a given part
number and rev. I've try a bunch of ways but have had not luck. If
anyone has any idea on which tables hold this information I would love
to know thanks!

Can you use the EcoRev EcoMtl & EcoOpr Tables?
Instead of Linking the EcoMtl to the ECO Rev link the EcoOpr.OprSeq to
EcoMtl.RelatedOperation.
Then put Eco.PartNum Eco.RevisionNum EcoMtl.MtlPartNum &
EcoMtl.RelatedOperation on the report and filter based on
EcoRev.PartNum and EcoRev.RevisionNum
Might be what you are looking for?

I am sorry also link EcoOpr.PartNum and EcoOpr.RevisionNum to the
EcoMtl Table

Michael,

Are the ECO tables just for the parts that are checked out in Engineering?

Might Part, PartRev, and PartMtl be what we're looking for?

A single level bill is easy, peasy, pumkin-pie. Are we really asking for an
indented BOM in Crystal?

Norman -

There is a report builder report on the Yahoo Group that will print the BOM
up to 7 or 8 levels deep.

You could use this report as a template for recreating the report in
Crystal.

HTH,

Calvin

Para personas que no estan a 8 or 8.03..

Nos tenemos un report a la lista para printar BOM para 7 o 8 plantas.

Que tu quierres es possible usar esta reporta para una template para
Crystal.

I just noticed this reply.
I just used the same tables that the method tracker uses, which is
the ECO tables. My info seems to be in the tables if is checked out
or not.
