Yeah... we don't have a problem with users reporting issues here either.  :).  I'll call Epicor and see if I can find a resolution to why Book Details isn't working, but if you could check around too, I'd appreciate it.

Hello Everyone,


We just recently upgraded to 10.0.700.4 and we've notice our Book Details in Order Entry isn't working and in Customer Maintenance I can't see the change log details anymore.


Is there a reason why the Book Details wouldn't be logging since I made the change to Epicor 10?

Change logging changed significantly in E10.  Now driven by a Data Directive BPM.  I’m not sure about the conversion process and if it will handle setting that up automatically from earlier version settings but if not then all the logging will have to be manually set up for each table.  Check for In-Process Directives for the table to see if one is set up for logging.  By convention we name all the change log related directives CHGLOG-xxxxxx for each table (xxxx) and they are in a BPM group called CHGLOG.

We have not had any issues – at least as far as I have heard (and nobody is shy about reporting issues  here ;)  ).   We have been live on 10 (new implementation not conversion) since June.   I will check around.  I am not real familiar with that process but got a crash course in change logging since it was so different from Vantage 6.1.
