Bookings - Add check box in company config to only change the sum on open releases

Bookings need to exclude closed releases for high volume blanket order type customers.

Example: I have an open order for a year shipping 1000 pieces a month for 1$ per each.

That is 12000 pieces for $12000 dollars over the year.

If I change the price going forward in in June to $2 dollars I want the remaining 6 months to book the increase of a dollar which is $6000.

Currently Epicor backs out the entire $12000 of the line item and adds in $24000 including closed shipped releases.

Yep. Been this way a long, long time.

Sales manager loves it because it overstates bookings.
Accounting hates it because it doesn’t tie out to anything.

Notes for the record.

The help on the BookDtl.BookType field:
Indicates order entry activity for which this record was created. “New” - added new order line item. “Chg” - change to order line item that affected bookings. “Rvl” – revalued order line item. “Del” - deleted sales order line items. “Void” - voided line items. Note: When an item is voided the “outstanding” qty and value are used.

So “Void” Types only look at outstanding balances.
That is what I would like the Change Option to do.
