BPM Data Form code/property to set focus

I’ve read that the Custom Code is the BPM is executed server side, so it doesn’t know anything about the UI.

Is there any way to access a property on the form designer to tell a control it should receive focus on pageLoad?

We have a BPM Data Form that will be used by a handheld scanner and we need to have the single field on this form get focus.
