BPM Data Forms Blank Title 100458

OK here is my deal.

(And I know I can do this other ways, just curious)

Quote Sales Person Split sometimes doesn't add up to 100%
I want to use BPM to call a BPM Form which will allow you to correct the
percentages.

Any ideas?

Anyone have any experience with these? Can shed some light on how they work?

Hi Jose.

They are designed to capture additional data on a conditional basis and
pass that data back to the calling BPM.

For example, we are single plant but have a need for the packing slip to
indicate if it shipped out of our Massachusetts plant or our Georgia
plant. Right now, each plant is represented as a warehouse.

I created a BPM that looks at CUR-WORKSTATION to determine what plant
the shipment is created for.

However, there could be a case where the user is not logged into a
Workstation so I need to prompt the user to select the shipping plant so
that the packing slip prints correctly.

I created a BPM data form that has a drop down list for the user to
select the shipping plant. This is passed back to the BPM and stored in
a user defined field.

How this helps.

What little testing I've done, the process seems to work like this:

- Design a Form with the Form Designer

- Use a BPM to call the form

- Process the data from the form in a subsequent BPM. You'll find your
fields in BPMData.XXX area.
