BPM Error BatchOps_ds.i was not found

Wow, Thanks.  That worked.  I spent two days with Epicor support for them to tell me that I was wasting my time trying to get it to work.  Once again this group came through for me.

This is because the BatchOps_ds.i file is missing from the Server\bo\

folder. Just create an empty text file with the same name and your BPMs

on BatchOps should run fine.

We are on Vantage 8.03.408a Progress.

Just wondering if you have checked the server logs?
Sometimes with error messages like this I find a corresponding error with more details in the log.

I don't know if this will help or not but I got the same message on a different file when trying to use a BPM on the getodbcnp method to set an odbc id and password on an ODBC subreport within an Epicor Crystal report. My error messages were **"bo\getodbcnp\getodbcnp_ds.i" was not found. (293)" and **C:\Epicor\Epicor905\Server\Bpm\CheckCodeTemplate.i Could not understand line 9. (193) I'm running on 9.05.701.

I didn't contact support as I found another way to do what I needed to do. I assumed it was because this method isn't set up to be used in a BPM either by design or because of an "oops!".

Just got off the phone with technical support and they said that since I was on 8.03, there was nothing they could do for me.  Makes me wonder why we pay for support every year.

This is because the BatchOps_ds.i file is missing from the Server\bo\
folder. Just create an empty text file with the same name and your BPMs
on BatchOps should run fine.
