BPM - Finding unique record where rowmod is ""

It depends where you're running your BPM. If the IDs for the records you
want to modify are in the parameter dataset for the method your using, it's
easy enough. If not, it's probably not doable.

You could always do a customization instead of a BPM. Not as desirable, but
it would work. From customization-land it's pretty trivial to get a list of
everything a person has open.

Hell, if you're willing to get a bit exotic, you could create a client
customization that triggers your BPM. This would let you trigger it for
everything the user has opened, while keeping all the advantages of a BPM vs
a customization.

I'm using a BPM for add values into a DMR Record Head from associated Part records. However because the rowmod is blank the BPM cannot find the specific record.

What I have done is put in:
"find first ttdmrhead where ttdmrhead.DMRNum = DMRNum NO-LOCK NO-ERROR."
into the BPM and that will find the current record - all is good!

But:

Is there a way of updating a selection of records when a user opens up multiple records?
