Fellow Vantage Users,

Ok, I will be attempting to follow in the footsteps of James Pratt in
organizing and hosting a Webex on BPM's. I expect that I might be able
to swing this near the end of May based on my current schedule here.
Anyone interested in participating feel free to email me at my work
email (not the vantage group) and I will start compiling a distribution
list for this meeting.

Please indicate if you are interested in sharing content or presenting
on a certain aspect of BPM's. There were several folks who brought some
great stuff to the table during the Service Connect Webex. I will
follow this email up the week after next with some sort of agenda.
Thanks in advance, and I look forward to gathering together with many of
you once again.

Hi Bob,

I'd be interested but don't have your email at work.

Thanks,

Sean

Rob-
Tried to send you a direct email but bumped back -

I would be interesting in joining your Webex. Rubberlite is still on V6.1 and making the move to either V803 or Epicor9 within the next several months. I have done lots of customizations but no BPM's, took Mark Pladson's class in Vegas - but if you don't use it you lose it >>> lost.

Let me know if you are still planning this and when.

Hello All,

This is the distribution list as it stands so far for the Webex. I will
use this to communicate to all those interested in matters regarding the
BPM Webex. So far interest looks good and I hope we can get some good
information out there regarding BPM's. So far I only have one volunteer
for helping out with content. Since I am carbon copying this to the
group, is there anyone else out there who is willing (or able) to
contribute as well?

I've written a number of BPM's but don't consider myself in any shape or
form the leading expert on this subject. I'm just a facilitator who has
some experience he's willing to share. I'm looking forward to speaking
with many of you, this is a fun group and there are a lot of
knowledgeable and savvy people in it and I appreciate your participation
and interest in helping others.

Perhaps this Webex could also be a great segue into another future one
on BAM's. These can fill some gaps or are at times (with the right
tools) more appropriate than BPM's. I've seen a few BAM writers out
there that use progress file attachments to do some very interesting
things.

I will follow this up very shortly with details on the Webex link and
the telephone conference number as well as an agenda. I welcome any
input or requests. If you have received this email in error, please let
me know and I will correct this immediately, thank you!

Thank you so much for the Webex on BPMs. I just finished watching the recorded version and learned TONS of stuff I can't wait to try! Your examples were all very helpful. Your PowerPoints will be a nice reference. As a relatively new Vantage user I've only done a few BPMs for mandatory fields. I've just been itching to try to update some fields/tables thru some BPMs but needed some examples to get me started. I've manipulated files as a COBOL programmer for 25+ years and wrote lots of "fixit" programs. I'm gonna have fun with BPMs! If only I didn't have to spend the next few weeks testing 408...

What's the link to the recorded webex?
